Although Susan has lived the majority of her life in Waynesburg, PA, she hails from Billings, Montana. Her family moved when she started high school, and she has lived in Waynesburg since then. Susan worked as a sewer for GreenWay Manufacturing for twenty years. When the factory closed, Susan earned her bachelor’s degree in Business at Waynesburg University. Upon graduating, Susan worked in the banking industry for six years before taking her job at Washington Financial.
Susan is on the Board of Directors for Off The Wall Productions. She is a member of the Waynesburg University Alumni Committee, Business and Professional Women, and The Washington County Women’s Network. She enjoys traveling, reading murder mysteries, and going to the tea house with her granddaughter.
As a people person, Susan enjoys working with customers and helping them with their financial well-being. She often draws on her own life experiences to find ways to meet their individual needs. “I realize how scary it can be to start a new career, especially in today’s economy,” she said. “I’ve been there. I can relate to them.”
