We will stand by our customers in the good times and the difficult times.Bill King Vice President and Commercial Banking Manager, South Main Street
As a Pittsburgh native, Bill resides on the outskirts of the City with his wife and children. He attended the University of Pittsburgh where he majored in Economics and English. Prior to taking a job at Washington Financial, Bill worked for Mellon Bank and Great American Federal.
Bill is a Board Member for Transitional Employment Consultants (TEC), which trains and finds employment for the mentally and physically handicapped. He is an active member of his church and was on their finance committee. In his free time, Bill enjoys golfing, restoring his home, taking his wife to movies, and cooking.
While working in commercial lending, Bill enjoys getting to know his customers. He visits their properties and looks at their plans. Because he forms a relationship with his customers, Bill can anticipate their financial needs. "Unlike a lot of our competitors who think in terms of the short run, we think of the long run," he said. "We will stand by our customers in the good times and the difficult times. Our customers remember that and stay with us when things get better."
